The design of this book is provided by the American designer David Carson. He has an impressive reputation due to his characteristic style that closely matches the bold character of Amsterdam. It will then be introduced in the Netherlands.
The team of art historians that compiles the collection has decided that only works by Dutch artists will be included. This has consequences for some museums with iconic top art by foreign artists. Among its notable projects are the Cow & Art exhibition in de Beurs van Berlage, Amsterdam, which later toured various locations across the country.
